Starnley Nwanosike, NAN: The Nigerian Army killed 23 militants in the “Operation Crocodile Smile”, staged to flush out criminals in oil-producing Niger Delta. The soldiers also recovered 55 assorted weapons from suspected criminals in the region, the General Officer Commanding (GOC), 82 Division, Enugu, Maj.-Gen. Ibrahim Attahitu, said on Saturday. He told newsmen in Enugu that the recoveries were made during a military exercise and that many of the criminal fled with various degrees of injury.
