Get 500MB for N25 on MTN Night Data Plan



MTN has released a night plan of 500MB for just ₦25. This allows you to browse the internet for 4 hours i.e. 12am midnight to 4am.

This data plan is perfect if you want to do academic research or stream audio/video, do a smartphone and system update, download films, games and lots more without spending much.

How to Subscribe
1. Your MTN SIM must be on the MTN Pulse tariff plan. If you don’t know your current tariff plan, simply dial *123# to check which plan you are. If you are not on MTN Pulse, dial *406# to migrate.

2. Ensure there is up to ₦30 on your phone.

3. Send NIGHT to 131 via SMS

4. You should get a message that reads:
“Dear customer you have successfully subscribed to free Night Browsing between 00:00 to 04:00 . ₦25 has been deducted from your account”

PLEASE NOTE: You can only activate the night plan on a sim card only once every night.

Hack idea: In case you have more than one MTN sim, you can use ₦100 to get 2GB on four of your MTN sim cards.

Kano State spends N70m weekly to feed primary school pupils

The Kano State government has stated that it spends at least N70 million on weekly basis to feed public primary school pupils in the state. The acting governor of the state, Hafiz Abubakar, said the expenditure was in addition to N68 million the government spends weekly on boarding schools. He made the disclosure on Wednesday when he received the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sunusi II, during the emir’s traditional Sallah homage to Government House, Kano. The Acting Governor added that the feeding program was an arrangement involving the state, local governments and host communities of schools. Mr. Hafiz said the state government had even been releasing about N700million every month to the local governments to ensure they pay their workers’ salaries and meet running cost. He further disclosed that the state also pays N300million as scholarship to students studying in Nigeria and abroad.
