How To Change IMEI Of All MTK Android Devices


This is a universal method of changing almost all MTK Android IMEIs. So far so good there has been two amazing methods that works fine on any device.

You can use the Engineering Mode(MTK) app, Chamelephon App or the Mobile Uncle Tool app. If none of this works on your MTK Android device, your phone is definitely not a Mediatek processor. This article will tackle the problem on how to change imei of all mtk android devices easily.

It has been tested and works fine on all MTK devices such as Tecno, Infinix, Huawei, Injoo, Lenovo and many other brands. What do I benefit from changing my imei? Read my article on benefits of rooting android devices if you’re still skeptical about doing this.

I’m going to highlight three working methods on how to change IMEI on Android phones..

Using MTK Engineering Mode (does not requires root)
Using Chamelephon App (requires root)
Using Mobile Uncle Tool (requires root)

METHOD 1: HOW TO CHANGE IMEI OF ALL MTK ANDROID DEVICES USING ENGINEERING MODE (MTK)

Very unique IMEI tweaking tool, it has my favourite out of all. This app doesn’t not need root access to work, simply install and tweak with ease.

Requirements

MTK Engineering mode (mtk)
Blackberry IMEI (download Blackberry IMEI generator software on your Smartphone here or request for one using the comment box)
FOLLOW STEPS BELOW

Step 1

First of all generate your 15 digit Blackberry IMEI

Step 2

Download Engineering Mode (MTK) from Google play store

Step 3

Open engineering mode » Click on Engineer Mode (MTK) » Swipe left to Connectivity » click on CDS Information » Radio Information.
Click on MTK Settings

Slide to connectivity, then click on CDS information.

Click on radio information
Step 4

Click on phone 1 if you want to change your sim 1 or choose Phone 2 to change sim 2 IMEI, follow this guide:

For Phone 1: “AT+ EGMR=1,7,”YOUR NEW IMEI NO” (make sure you add a space in between AT+ & EGMR)

For Phone 2: “AT+ EGMR=1,10,”YOUR NEW IMEI NO” (make sure you add a space in between AT+ & EGMR)
Select Phone 1 or 2

Insert newly generated IMEI then click on “Send AT command”
Step 5

Press the “Send At Command” (You should receive a message that your ‘AT command sent)

Step 6

Reboot and dial *#06# to confirm your new IMEI.
